CERTIFICATE II IN ANIMAL STUDIES (TRAINEE)

Emily is a lifelong animal lover who after 15 years in the call centre industry began as a receptionist at her previous clinic. This is what made her realise she wanted to become a vet nurse and led to her applying with Melbourne Bird Vet. Since joining us she has commenced studying the Certificate II in Animal Care as a prerequisite for the Vet Nurse course. She has had a bevy of exotic pets in the past including a pair of imprinted ducklings, a cheeky ferret and a rat who loved hanging out in the hood of her jumper.

Her family currently consists of her husband Chris and their 3 daughters - Claudia, Romy & Freddie - along with their cocker spaniel Poe, cat Tux & birds Stitch (Indian ringneck), Paul (cockatiel, pictured) & Jellybean (green cheek conure). When she isn’t helping nurse your feathered friends she likes to read, play her Nintendo Switch and spend time with her family & friends.
