Ben has loved animals since his dad gave him his own animal encyclopedia. While he didn’t grow up with any pets, he always wanted to visit the zoo and developed a passion for otters and penguins, a passion which he shares with his wife, Ely, and son, Mason. Their family also has 2 pets, a cat (Billy) and a Labradoodle (Ned). When not working, Ben loves spending time with family playing soccer or doing photography together.

 

After Studying a Certificate II in Animal studies through the RSPCA, Melbourne Bird Vet Clinic became the first position he had in the animal industry. He is currently completing his Certificate IV through TAFE Gippsland. His goal is to keep helping animals of all shapes and sizes and one day even work with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
